Description
Here she is! Twilight Princess Zelda! I'm so excited and proud of her!
Where to start...O.o!
Zelda took me about a month to complete - probably 15-20 hours total.
Her bodice is cut from a pillow case, because they don't SELL felt in that color, so I had to improvise, and I'm quite happy with how it came out.
I used fabic puff paint for all the detail work, which saved me so much time, however I still had to wait for it to dry. I love how crisp the lines can be with puff paint.
She is able to move her arms as if the armor was jointed, like authentic armor.
I had a lot of freedom with her bow and quiver, which were specially requested by lollipoppornb. I decided to give her a delicate hip quiver, as opposed to an over the shoulder one which would conflict with her hair.
For the bow, I had to sacrifice strength for accuracy, so it is display only.
I love her ears and earrings. Again, I chose to give her a flesh tone to help with the ears, and to make the gloves stand out.
Fun fact - Zelda's feet don't touch the floor - I made the dress a bit too long to accommodate the detail, so her feet dangle just above - the felt is strong enough to hold her up. Such a princess...
