Here is a very special commission from my cousin, MacKenzie. She requested a "Whimsical Witch" and gave me complete creative license to do whatever the heck I wanted!
This plushie is a duplicate of her plushie, with some differences.
After going on a shopping spree, I got to work. It was hard to figure out what I wanted to do and make it come to life - usually I'm working from a reference picture and with her, it was just images I had in my head.
I wanted to go non-traditional with her, rather than doing a stereotypical Halloweeny witch.
She was so much fun to work on and I got to learn some new things like how to sew a doll wig! I wanted to give her curly ginger hair to resemble my cousin's locks, so I bought some beautiful yarn and learned how to make a wig for her! I love how it looks and I was able to style it as I would a real doll!
Her pockets have a rolled up cloth scroll, a leaf or herb, a string of blue beads, she had jingle bells woven into her hair as well as a couple birds. Striped purple socks, soft brown boots, a charcoal grey jumper, flowy white shirt, and a colorful, be-pocketed apron. She has keys on her apron and a heart shaped key necklace.
Also, on the hem of her dress are Theban runes which spell out Harm None.
Thank you so much - it means a lot since this is an original design! I'm sorry that you didn't win, however, you can commission something like this when I open them back up!
